Kayla began her journey with yoga as a student at MCLA. Since graduating in 2015, she has completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training through Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health. Kripalu Yoga allows her to accept herself and appreciate what her body is able to offer. It represents the absence of good and bad which creates a judgement free practice. Every time she steps on the mat and takes the time to become connected to her body through a mindful yoga session she is able to feel grounded and fulfilled. Her goal is to spread this self-empowering practice to her community by guiding anyone willing to step on the mat. She hopes to help people find new strengths, build self-acceptance, and discover belief in themselves through yoga.
